Spaceballs
In the movie
Spaceballs, King
Roland of the
planet Druidia is
trying to marry his
daughter to a
prince. Plans go
awry when the
king's daughter is
kidnapped by the
maniacal species
known as
Spaceballs. The
Spaceball (home of
the Spaceballs) has
a serious problem
with their air
supply, so they
demand that the
king give them all
of their air from
Druidia so that the
Spaceball may
prosper. King
Roland refuses to
give an access code
to the Spaceballs so
that the force field
protecting Druidia,
may fall thus letting
the Spaceballs take
over. King Roland
offers an enormous
amount of money
to space pilot Lone
Starr to retrieve
his daughter from
the Spaceballs.
Along with Dot
Matrix, a droid, and
Barf, a dog/human
mix, the gang sets
out to foil the
Spaceball's plans.
In my opinion,
this movie was
hilarious. The
dialogue was
well developed,
the characters
were created
perfectly to fit
their roles, and
while you're
watching it, you
would have no
clue that it was
created in 1987
due to its
next-level
comedy.
Although this
movie was
spectacular, it
lacked in light
saber fighting.
Spaceballs was
mocking many
sci-fi movies,
but mainly
focused on Star
Wars. One
thing Star Wars
is known for is
its intense light
saber battles.
Overall this was
one of the best
and funniest
movies I have
ever seen.
