SALEM'S LOT
The movie Salem's Lot, in the introduction scene shows a church where two guys are
filling up bottles of water. Suddenly the water is glowing, and then the story goes back
two years to the town of Salem's lot. A writer has just returned to the town to write a
book on an apparently haunted house. A box is delivered to the house and people in
the town start disappearing and dying. After numerous deaths and the town knowing
there were vampires around, writer Ben Mears stabs a vampire in the heart with a stake
and sets his house on fire. The story goes back to the church and the men with glowing
water know the vampires are near because the water was glowing so they leave and go
back to the house where a vampire is waiting. They drive a stake through its heart and
leave with vampires still following them.
I think the movie was all right. It had a really simple plot, but I don't like how
it ended. The ending was bad and not creative, are my two criticisms. It
was also pretty entertaining despite the film quality not being so good. It
was an all right movie.
